Feeling the pull
And pain of scars
Welling under skin
Stretched tightly across
Cells assaulted by cancer.
My eyes close
I feel the rush of blood
In my veins
As muscles clench
And relax.
Warmth of skin
Releasing tension
Energy pulsing
The healing continues.
