Lessons Learned

I keep waiting

For the big life lesson

I'm suppose to learn from all this.

Stop and smell the roses-

I already have a lovely garden.

Appreciate loved ones-

I hope you know how much

You mean to me.

Live each day to the fullest-

I've enjoyed my life.

Go with the flow-

I feel like a puddle.

Be in the moment-

Even the not so good ones.

Maybe, that's the lesson-

There is no big lesson.

Maybe it's just

One day after another

Keep moving forward.

It's only from a distance

We can see the big picture.
