The night the stars come out,
All dressed in their finery
Sparkling like celestial beings.
Diamonds like spotlights
Catching the flashbulbs.
Smiles dazzling off
Expensive teeth.
Bodies stuffed into satin and lace.
Hair they worked on for hours
To look like they just rolled
Out of bed.
What a wonderful world
When they put on a show.
