Winter Weather

Cold winter finally grabbed us
With frost covered mittens
And snow colored eyes.
Slipping down the path
On the way to a January thaw
We bundle up in wool
And thermal wear
Eyes peeking out
To watch the kids
Their cheeks red
As they chase away
The cold.
