Just checking my emails
Becomes one little peek at Facebook
And a quick post
Then an instant message
And I'd better do my blog
Which reminds me
I have to google something
Then a visit to Youtube...
Half an hour latter
I forgot what I came for.

Frozen April showers
Melting Spring fever,
Covering the starving green
And thwarting all hope.

Understanding
Doesn't necessarily mean
You get it
Only that you put up with it.

The beat of fingers
On desk top
The swing of feet
Out of view
The nodding of head
To an inner rhythm
Energy pulsing through
Hump Day

Back to school
Back from break
A little bit of sunshine
To recharge my batteries
And keep me going till June...

A safari in my head
Hunting the elusive job
Weapons of wit and skills
To battle
The insecurities and uncertainties
On its trail.
